Sunday the 13th must have
been the hottest day of the year so far,
perfect for the days racing and show etc.
Six times world champion Jim
Redman signed my programme and was one of
many stars past and present who mixed
with the crowds.

Derbyshire.
Left, this
gorgeous Norton was one of the best
turned out bikes I saw among the
classics.
The picture really
can't do it justice, but it was very hard
to fault.
